Now that the car is acting normal when there is no condensation tells me it is electrical- most likely plugs and wires. could also be a o2 sensor starting to go out. Are you seeing any trouble codes? if so which ones- you can go to autozone and they will read the codes for free. You will have no idea what the code is- just copy it down and then come back and ask or throw the code into google and you will have your answer.
Yeah, the wires definitely need a change. They didn't replace them when we put the new spark plugs in back in May, so I guess that gets to be a father-son bonding experience since my dad didn't take it to work today.

You should really be doing things like plugs and wires yourself. All it takes is a Haynes manual and patience.

Yeah, I'm probably coming off as needy, but it's not like that. He is my automotive teacher and he does have me do everything he teaches me, except for the first demonstration. He's more like an administrator. I really do appreciate him and everything he's done for me and I'm incredibly thankful to have him in my life to be there and teach me all this so I can pass it down to my son/daughter one day.
Plus, I do pay him back by buying him a Perrier every now and again and dropping it off at his work.
And now, I'm going to give him a hug.

When you washed it, did you start it, move it a few feet, and then shut it off while it was still running cold/rich? One of my parent's cars does that. If you start it and shut it off before it is warm, it will misfire for a couple minutes the next time it is started.

Yeah, I moved out so I had some more space to wash it, but I've done that a few times before and never had this problem. Except with the other times, it did sit a lot longer before I put it back in its place, so maybe that had something to do with it?
