Funny Tire Wear

On my 2013 Camaro SS both of my front tires are wearing in a very strange pattern. The insides and middle are wearing as expected, but the outside of both tires are wearing strangely. I've attached pictures below, the car is missing the front strut tower brace which my 2010 SS didn't come with but I'm now inclined to think this maybe the culprit due to the electronic power steering. Has anyone else experienced this?

Looks more like too much toe in wearing the outer edge a bit more, if it feels like it's feathered one way that would mean toe in or toe out is out of where it should be. If the wear is even all the way around the tire on the outside edge, that would be due to excess positive camber. Would suggest taking it to have the alignment checked and aligned to specs.

How does a strut tower brace, or lack thereof, change your alignment and increase wear?

alignment or another issue that causes this is low pressure.

Mine are doing the same thing. The tire pressure is correct and alignment is good. Had it checked shortly after making the following post.

Thanks for the advice.
My tire pressure is perfect, I checked it today, will get the alignment checked for sure. I thought I had read about issues concerning the electric power steering without a strut tower brace somewhere before is why I ask about that. The toe does make sense, hopefully thats all it is. I have noticed the steering feeling a little too responsive to small input recently. I'll keep everyone posted to what I find when I find it.

You stated your pressure is correct but are you running P Zeros? The recommended pressure is for P Zeros is why I asked. If you have a different tire it may call for more pressure. If a tire has too little pressure it can cause the outside to wear due to flex in turns. I had this with the G-Max tires when I got them. Just trying to help out...

I still have the original tires on the car, it only has 17000 miles. That's good to know in the future though.
