I'd let you borrow my 1970 VW bus, it is self
contained and you can take a few of your privileged friends with you if you promise to take the backroads through Texas. I hear there's a nice BBQ place along way so be sure to stop by.

I know exactly what your saying. You are trying to do what people do for March of Dimes where people walk or run for 'X' cent a mile and collect money from people that would sponsor them. That is still a donation but it is for a better cause than you wanting money for a fun trip.

Like other have said, this is more of a local thing. Nobody around here where I live in Georgia is getting asked by High School kids in California to help pay for a trip to France or Spain or where ever!?!? Get real!

Haha I know of someone personally who did it for a trip to france. And from what Ive heard she got the idea from someone else who had done it. But i think it was all local.

Sponsors lol. You got a better shot at dressing like a bum on the side of the street with a hat in your hand son.
