Opinion Thread - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Okay in about less than a year ill probably get a camaro now i have some hard choices to make,

Color: CGM, Black, White im leaning toward CBM as its kind of the best of both worlds

Options; i can option it up to 28500, RS and Auto are a givin that leaves about another 1250 what else shall i get?

Personally, I think black is hard to keep looking good. So CGM or white would be my recommendation. As far as the other $1250, depends what you like. I like having the bluetooth and all that so the technology (think it is called the convenience package) would be a must for me. I don't have the ordering guide on this PC so I don't know what the price is on just that package.

Aftermarket stuff. $250 for tint and now you are down to a grand.

You can toss in the BA and your own subs/amp and you'll be tapped out.

Sorry...I love my music. You might wanna take it easy on the go fast goodies and wait till that warranty expires and just get some interior upgrades for now.

I also am getting Cyber Black Metallic; but remember, it's an extra cost color.

CGM = cyber gray metallic
black = black
white = white

Where you get cyber black metallic from?

And the only extra cost color is the red jewel tintcoat.

You might as well get the Boston Acoustics stereo, and the window tint is a must in California. Get the darkest (5%) but be sure to take your sunglasses with you when looking through their samples. Some colors in both the sunglasses along with the window tint don't always work together.

One thing you might want to consider are the polished wheels. While I really like the Midnight Silver color on the RS package, I just changed my order on my Black 1SS RS to the polished wheels. You could also buy (if available) the four pack gages. That's what I'm probably gonna do.

One other thing you could do is just pocket some of that extra cash for taking out some of the gals who are going to HAVE TO GO FOR A SPIN in your new Camaro!!! Enjoy

I think it's $655.

I just thought of something else. If you're determined to spend the money, you might consider the painted engine cover. If you do, you might want to see if they will let you get one of the other colors, like one of the reds or the yellow, it could be a nice contrast?
