I "we" just built the first pace car for the Indy 500. Just left trim heading to chassis. This will be the car pacing Indy.

And I have it's build sheet for trim. Post pics later.

When i went to the Indy 500 a few years ago i think they had a bunch of different generations of corvette's and a Z06 i think as pace and then a year later for the Brickyard 400 they had like 4 Camaro's leading but with the stock cars you couldn't even begin to hear them lol.

Also both races were probably the safest races ever and every minor wreck happened a mile away from my seat and i sat on opposite sides lol. I probably will only ever want to see a short track if i ever go to a race again.

What replaced the bowtie on the deck lid. I have to assume it will be some kind of Indy emblem?

Nothing replaced it. The pace car is badgeless. The dash is different. Instead of s solid orange dash insert it's broken up orange to white to match the stripe kit going on. Very cool.
