Camaro Winter drivers question about window indexing

any good/bad experiences with the window indexing with the window being frozen and having to get in and shut the door?

Mine did it today, and it wasn't even the coldest day we've had. Wouldn't work for a few hours, but just started again when I got home.

I don't know if the weather is to blame, but for 2 weeks I never had to 'reset' my indexing. I've had to do it 4 times within the last week and a half. If you're worried you can always use luke warm water to thaw the ice a bit.

Happens to me alot here in Detroit. Nothing to worry about, just when you have snow/ice built up on you car, the windows just will get "locked" in place. I think the engineers at GM must have encountered this during cold weather testing, so they probably have it just "give up" when it encounters the slightest resistance, like ice holding the window in place. Nothing to worry about!

I washed my car at a touchless do-it-yourself bay a few weeks ago when it was so cold that the water was freezing on the car. I then had to make a few shopping stops and despite having sprayed water all over the windows in way below freezing temperatures I never had any problem with the window index.
