As bad as I hate to do it I have to give up my spot. My wife and I have decided to sell our house and buy another one and I cant do that with a new car payment. I am not sure if you can change colors or not but I have a black on black 2SS 6-speed and I am one of the first ones on the list. I am in Birmingham, AL and if interested you can email me at sidetracked3@yahoo.com. The downpayment is 2500.00 which I have already paid and will go toward the car when you get it. I am not giving away 2500. If you want the spot you have to give me the 2500 that I payed for it. If not I will keep the car and sell it after I get it. I am trying to give people on the board first shot at it before I let the dealership ask around.

He will find out asap, he also is checking on if any changes can be made to. He has a customer right now.

does anyone know that? they have not been able to give me a date. I dont think anyone knows that info for sure. But from what they told me the bigger dealerships get the cars first and they are one of the biggest in Alabama.

I believe any change to an order can occur at this time, as long as the status code is at 1100 I believe. So now would be the best time to change the order before GM really kicks of Production.

Good Luck Sidetracked3 - I hope one day you will be able to get your hands on one of these beautiful cars. A roof over my head has way more priority than a new car, so your making the right decision. Even though I know its got to be tough.

Well I will have a camaro again one day. But the way the economy is right now I do not want to get in over my head. I will be back soon though in a black on black.

That's what I'm screamin. I have a 2SS on order, Black on Black. I live in Louisiana so if I ever pass through Alabama maybe I'll let you take it for a spin.
