BLACK CONCEPT CAMARO ?!!! PICS ADDED - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey Guys,
This is my first day at the forum, heard great things about u guys from our JEEP SRT8 forum.
Im from Virginia.

Let me get to the point here,
I was at a car show last night and it was my first time seeing a BLACK camaro, in person.
It wasnt any camaro, it was the BLACK EDITION CAMARO !!!!!

I really fell in love and couldnt get over it.
I talked to the representative there and asked him if it is possible to get the exact same one for me and he said YES !!
I took his card right away and made an appointment with him at the dealership first thing in the morning.

Does any one have this Black Edition Camaro in here ?

Im trading in my SRT8 JEEP for this sexy camaro !!! I hope its worth it.

Ill let u guys know how it goes tomorrow

Cant wait to get me one ... I was planing on getting it before i bought my Jeep but i was told it is impossible to get the BLACK CONCEPT CAMARO, and thats what made me go with the Jeep, Still a bad a$$ suv and i love ittt.

I too think the black edition is pretty sick! I didn't know they were for sale though. I knew one was made, but not that it was in production. I hope it is though so you can get it.

First of all welcome to the forums. The Black edition is just what u said mean....a concept camaro. There are many members here that have "murdered" out their camaros, and I plan on doing that with my SS.

Your right, They're not for sale.
But this dealer promised they will build me one, We'll see tomorrow

and just so im not completly off topic, im not too sure you will get the exact concept like black edition, but maybe whoever you got this information from is going to mod it for you?

Since it is probably not available directly from GM, I am sure there are places like Gary's Customs that could make one for you.

Yep this dealer/representative said he knows someone in the factoru who can build me a special order BLACK EDITION CAMARO !

Sounds like the salesman has set the hook. Now he has to reel the big fish in. I foresee some unfulfilled promises ahead. "He knows someone at the factory"...hummmm. Tread carefully into these dangerous waters my friend.

Okay here is how it went down @ the dealership !!
I was told that they will get me a special order BLACK EDITION camaro right from the factory,

The BLACK EDITION has the V6 engine on it,
And i made a little change and asked for the V8 engine to be in it instead.

They will get it built/shipped in 4-11 weeks !!
If i go back and place the order anytime this week,
Im really in love with this car now and i dont think i will turn my back on it.

Ill let u guys know when i place the order

only question thats buggin me is to know how many other BLACK EDITION camaros are out there ? any idea
