I like using that sensor Map and IAT all in one ... Works well and is easy to adjust you just need to know how to scale it in HPT , FYI the edelbrock tune sucks ...and is dangerous IMO ...

Matt TuneTime, I adjusted my PE scale to get a better AFR as edelebrock does. Are you using the map senser and tuning with a 2 bar OS. If so I would be interested in how to do this. I have HPT and wideband.

My high IAT prob I believe comes from heat soak to senser after car runs, sits and then restarted. It does lower as car runs .

Any help is appreciated.

What exactly sucks and is dangerous about the edelbrock tune?

Dean

Just had mine on the dyno yesterday, had the same problem. IAT sensor seemed to heat soak between runs. Seems ok while driving though. I'll data log while driving today.

Me too. Maybe due to the fact he's a ProCharger Distributor.

With my LS3 with Kooks headers and the stock Eforce tune, the a/f ratio was close to spot on, but weak on timing, which was to be expected. I was using the stock intake. I could see it being dangerously lean with a cai though.

The canned Procharger tunes leave a lot to be desired as well.

I would be interested in viewing anyones timing files (HPT) with E-Force. I am still working on IAT. Heat soak is killing me on restart in this hot weather. I'm seeing temps higher than 145 without boost.

Any one doing a supercharger should be considering a custom dyno tune.
Its near impossible to have one canned tune work on everybody's cars.

We have experimented time and time again with two exact cars of the same mods and have not been successful transferring one tune to the next without alterations.

Thanks
Mike Haddad

Haddad, Busy Boi said you knew something about IAT temps and E-Force. Could you share.

After shut-down and sitting for a few minutes, my IAT gets to 147 deg. I data-logged a drive (just cruising) at 88 deg OAT, and the lowest it reached was 126 deg. I still have the stock t-stat so I'm sure that's not helping things either.
