Cheapest Way to make exhaust louder on a V6 camaro

Just as the title says. Could i just change out the mufflers, or does the whole exhaust system need to be changed?

Cutting off the mufflers is generally seen as a bad kind of loud. If you want them loud and still sounding pretty good i would go with the MRT v1 since they are a bit louder then the v2

This is the cheapest way. Cheap isn't always good.

Cheap is usually not good, and good is usually not cheap....dynomax VT or MRT V2 are both good with the Dynomax being cheaper.
I have the MRT V2 because the Dynomax won't fit a convertible.
Whatever you get be sure it is designed to miss the extra underbody bracing the convertible has.

Cutting them off makes it loud and extremely ricey. Get a good sounding cat back.

I would suggest if you go MRT V1 might want to look in to J-pipes to go along with it. IMO

Brand new saws all. Good excuse to buy one. Then replace the stock mufflers with a set of MRT 2.0's and enjoy the new sound. Also saves you 32 lbs in weight.

That is what I did. Had the nufflers at home before I took delivery of my Camaro. This was 3 years ago. I would do it again, in a heartbeat.

I have straight pipes (there is no muffler, just a pipe) and in my opinion it sounds amazing and there is not any drone. It's also the cheapest option.
