something wrong with that supra, his mph is way too low

saw one here go 8.53 @ 173

Well I raced my stock 2ss rs 6 speed against my buddys 2002 ss 6 speed. Actually i was quite surprised at how close he was. Through first gear i put about a 1/4 car on him, same with 2nd. It wasnt till 3rd gear that I really pulled away from him. We ran 3 or 4 times with the same result each time. I was running 13.1 his was 13.4.

Actually that mph is quite nominal for his ET. The Supra you saw fits the "Ultra high mph/mediocre" Supra stereotype. At 173mph he should be well into the 7's.
