Upgrade the rest of your exhaust system to a 3" system would be good. Look into under drive pulleys, and maybe an FAST Intake manifold. Kinda pricey (intake/ 3" cat back) but it'll be some of the biggest power adders.

And I know you probably don't want to hear this, but I would return the Diablo, and get it Dyno tuned. It'll be a much much bigger gain in hp if you do that. I made the same mistake. I had a T1000, and got a Dyno tune last week. All I can say is the Diablo is used to make my speedometer read correct on my truck since it changes tire/ speedometer ratios. Other than that it's a 400-500$ gimmick vs a 400$ custom Dyno tune.

(Picked up 20more hp than the Diablo tuner gave me after I did my first Dyno tune) and I also got it tuned for cheaper than 400$ after I installed my Cam upgrade. Picked up 79hp more from just the cam w/ second Dyno tune.

Any of them are good. They all give the same result. Some may read different depending on the manufacturer and calibration

The men working the equipment are who you need to choose wisely. Make sure you go to a shop that's done many LS3s before.

New trans tune is needed now. Should be running quicker than I am. Few upgrades coming along that I havent installed yet but I shall get around to it. Going back and forward between buying manual parts and go fast parts. But only missing a few things far as the manual goes. Then some saving must go on for the labor. I doubt I carry out the task myself this time around but shouldnt be too bad if im providing the parts beforehand and not tackling a big bill of parts and labor. Also thinking of going 2.45/9.17 pulley wise this time around. I tank is sitting in a room until a different heat exchanger is done. Torn in between D3 and Aldowelds new triple pass system which is half the size and $100 cheaper. Havent chose which one I will combo with the ice tank quite yet. But install shall go on soon, so stay tuned

Update: Seems as my Z is fighting against the infamous heat soak at the track. Even after cooling down for 30-1hr it still maintains a high IAT temp as if the pump isnt pumping coolant through the SC enough. Also the rotofab intake may be another reason for high IAT temps so I will be putting it up for sale here soon. Im all for the nice SC whine it gives off but im more for the performance and lower temps. I have an ice box that I will be installing this weekend as well more than likely to help cool down the temps

Have you tried an 80% distilled, 20% dexcool with water wetter mix? I'd do that while racing in the heat. Intercooler and radiator change. Should help with temps (outside of a bigger HX and radiator)...

Heat soak will happen while sitting, but once the pumps going, that should bring them down...

Just a thought...

Going for the bigger HX down the road. Never thought about the radiator. Believed the stock one was fine with a bigger HX. I've gotten some mixed signals about water wetter as it doesn't do anything.

Dropping the Ice tank off in the morning to get powder coated with a wrinkle black appearance to decrease the amount of sweat(moisture) build up outside the tank

And for the ones asking me have I completed the auto to manual swap, I have not. I've been sidetracked taking care of other things. I am still going through with it, just bare with me. When it is done you will know. Thank you

Reviving this journal. Ice box has been in for quite some time now. Maybe almost 2 months now. Still haven't had time to test it out though and the season is almost over XD.
