Hey now... I'm in the Az Camaro Club and I might be 53 but my mind is still 16 (just a lot more dirty thinking in there)! I don't get to hang out that often due to my work schedule, but I make my own fun where ever I go no matter what the age group I'm with.

I hear you. Just turned 25, finished college, and worked my butt off while in it to afford a decent down payment of a house before I bought my 2014. Age doesn't matter if you have the discipline to reach your goals.

You'll have better luck at local car meets, college car groups, etc. You're right about the Camaro5 meet crowd being of the "older persuasion" and they're nice people, sure, but I'm not of the age where I can talk mortgages, 401K's, and how great Steve Miller Band was live back in '73. I'm exaggerating of course, but you get my point. There's people your age at meets, you just have to find the right scene.

I'm 24, leased my 1LT (no RS, too much money and not enough gain to me). I figure I have been responsible to the point my credit is where I need to be to afford a few nice things like a Camaro so why not? But I do see what you mean. There's a Camaro club where I live and there are quite a few people close to my age that are part of it but don't show up to the events very often. Usually it's the older, not old, people who do show up. I enjoy hanging out with them on occasion and obviously we do share a passion for the Camaro and most cars but after a while it would be nice to have younger people around that share more common interests that just out cars.

You think Camaros are bad, try owning a vette. All the meetings are middle of the week during the day because they are all retired. Most of them could be my grand parents.
