Yeah, I agree, maybe on a fuel-efficient daily with 200hp. But never on a sports car, Michelin or continental is the way to go. For a more budget-friendly tire look at Hankook and Toyo. Personally, I only buy Michelin tires; I am using a/s/3 + high performance all season right now. And they are amazing all season, almost as good as my pilot super sports. Because of these a/s/3 tires, I won't be switching to summer tires in the summer anymore. They are that good I am more than happy to use them all year long

Used the G-Max all season tires with great success. That was on my 2010 six speed manual SS.

I haven't used the General RS, but I've used the GMAX AS04/05s on both my 5th Gen RS and the wife's SS. Great all season tire!!

I've had very good experience with General and recommend them. The AS-05 high performance all-season tires are on my wife's luxury car. I am curious about the new summer tires but haven't tried them.

You do know that Continental makes General tires right?

They are highly rated and over the last 10 yrs proven to be a high-quality tire.

Generals are really good tires, I just put a set on my wife's SS yesterday.

I have gmax as's on the fronts. Continental extreme contact dws06 on the backs. Discount couldn't find a matching set of any good all seasons for the winter, since I bought the car mid January. No complaints with the gmax AS's. Ride very nice and handle well stopping and turning in snow.

I bought a set of these for my 2SS last summer. They were a great price, but no real reviews to go by. I am very happy with these. They handle well, great traction, and quiet. As a GM technician I have driven a ton of Camaros and Vettes, and think these tires would be a great choice for the majority of people. That being said, I don't race or drag the car. Compared to the goodyear runflats, drives like a new car. Just my thoughts.

I have to disagree. I had the AS-03 on my 2011 2LT RS and they were great!

The RS tested better than the Firehawks that people nut over on this forum.

Just put a set of 4 General As5 on my 2016 2SS this past monday, deff changed the ride of the car from the ROF. Drives little looser now but no more road noises and hard drive. I do hope car settles into them, may take in for alignment just incase but for 890 installed with 3 year warranty certificates on them from Direct Tire, it was worth replacing the crappy ROF!
