Time to go forced induction!!

I'm planning to purchase a power adder in the near future with that said I've had naturally aspirated, nitrous and pd blower cars. Loved them all especially the blower cars!!! I've never owned nor driven centri or turbos and I'm very interested especially with all the positive threads I've seen on both the ecs and agp kits!! I drive my car daily and will track it a few times a year. Car is a 2015 camaro 1le . I don't want a dyno queen just want to have some fun no worries and to be able to take out or run with the gt500 and hellcats!!
So for the members here who've actually owned or had real seat time with roots, centris and turbos what would you prefer??

I have the SLP TVS 2300 Supercharger. One of the smaller superchargers on the market. But plenty for around town.

If your looking for power in the range of 550-575 rwhp then you can get there easy with this. Add a cam and you'll b3 650-680rwhp.

However the bigger superchargers, whipple and ecs ect get there faster.

Then theres the Turbo kits. From what I've been reading, just adding those and supporting mods, like fuel upgrade the power is there at the level of a maxed out SLP blower.

Long story short. I thought i would be good with Just a supercharger power. Well the Power bug bites you and you'll always want more.

I think if i could do it all again i would of gotten the bigger blower or gone straight to Twin Turbos. The dyno numbers those turbo kits are producing are very impressive. But i don't track....just around town sideways runs, so after I install the Cam to my current setup, i should be happy......haha

Good luck with your install

I have the ADM LSA kit I installed. It's a factory fit and finish. You can ck out my build to see what it looks like. You have a lot of option but these make great power. Don't forget suspension updates like trailing arms/bushings and cradle bushings...

Good luck with your new adventure...

Get the absolute budget figured out, then plan the whole build.A 1000 HP build is useless without complete fuel system, complete drive train build including tranny, complete susspionsion make over.Set a goal and do it right for your budget.

^^^

This. That is exact what I did and I also planned for things I may miss. Took me several months to get all the items purchased and installed. Do it right the first time...

Thanks guys... Yes I know about the planning and I'm just getting confused on which way to go... I know I'll love another roots style blower!! But I keep wanting to try turbos lol but don't want to spend the money and be disappointed compared to what I'm used to with the pd blower.. Anyone gone from a pd blower to a turbo setup??? If so like turbos better? Or miss the blower?.... And this would be for the street of course..

I can't say as far as the turbo's go but I really like my Whipple. I would like to try a turbo setup as well as long as I could get the setup right to where they would spool fast and come on quick like the Whipple does. Me personally, I like a PD blower on the street but I'm sure the turbo guys like theirs as well. If 1,000hp is your goal then twin turbos is a no brainer.

The SLP 2300 is not a small blower. There was a 1900 before. The new style 2300 from SLP is a great blower

With our turbo kit 750whp is very easily attainable on a stock engine with stock cam and all. IAT's are the lowest as are parastatic losess, so 750whp on our system is less harmful to your engine than 650whp on a PD blower. Add it up and while our kit is slightly more initial cost, it's actually much cheaper by the time you get up into the bigger 700+whp range.
ECS kit would be my second choice and has reasonable IAT's and can make a lot more power than a PD blower but still with the 15% parastatic loss driving the blower.
