Blower Cam install complete W/ Video

Mustang Dyno numbers.
586 HP and 555 TQ

previous mods:
tvs 2300, kooks headers, corsa catback, CAI,

New additions:
cam kit, cts v pump, 85lb injectors, 3.2 pulley, 8 lbs boost

not to bad!! what I find crazy is how different a mustang dyno and dynojet dyno are in readings. before the cam install I had it dyno'd on a dynojet and it put down 563 rwhp and on the mustang dyno it put down 518. no wonder people like to use dynojet for their graph/bragging rights

congrats on the Upgrade bud.

Get yourself on a superflow or dynojet soon to see the numbers!

with those mods i would of guessed 640-660rwhp at that boost level.

You're moving some air, you lost quite a bit of boost to be running a 3.2" seeing 8#. What are the specs of your cam? I was thinking of dropping to a 3.2" are you experiencing any belt slip; and do you have an aftermarket tensioner ?

cam specs 223 intake 235 exhaust 117 separation comp cam.

the new version tvs 2300 doesn't get belt slip like the previous model. here it is with the 3.2 pulley they said they were gonna try a couple pulleys and the 3.2 was the sweet spot. any smaller was working against itself heat wise.

Nice numbers Paul. My fuel pump just arrived with some other goodies, so I should be making my way there soon.

I think you're missing some boost (and possibly power) somewhere. Your boost should be closer to 10psi the way you're equipped. I'm comparing it to my current Heartbeat TVS2300 and my older jackshaft Maggie TVS2300. My HB has a 3.2" pulley and sees just under 10psi. My older one had a 3.3" pulley and saw a little over 9psi. Both rigs were LS3's with similar cams as what you're running. Old one was a little under 650rwhp. New one a little over the 650 mark. That's on a DynoJet. On a Mustang Dyno, the new one is 620ish.

Power numbers are going to depend on the dyno, the day, and other variables. Your boost numbers would have me scratching my head though.

Yea i too thought the boost was low. But I pay someone to do my car!!

When i was completely stock and just had the TVS2300 i had 8lbs of boost.

Now with Long Tube headers, CAI, 3.4 pulley, 96b injectors I'm at 10lbs of boost.
