I put it in just before 'Sandy'. I'm closer to the door this year,so I may have it out sooner. Mid April is safe around here. Have to wait for the rain to wash the salt off the roads.

You can easily tell if any Camaro around here is driven year round by simply looking under it... there's no way to get all that crap out of every crack, and anything unpainted or with a plated finish is corroded and rusty looking in short time... not to mention the hundreds of stone chips. While I'd love to be able to drive it year round, It just ain't happening around here.
AMEN! Mine's been put away for a few weeks now and won't be out until steady spring rains wash away all the crap on the roads. My Camaro hasn't seen snow or rain. That's what my 4WD DD is for.

First year with a Camaro...put it away day after Thanksgiving, but weather got nice again and couldn't stand seeing it parked. So it was put away 'again' Dec 16th.

Won't come out until salt/sand has washed away. Oh and April showers don't scare me...LOL

They use that nasty brine here too. Like you say, you can sure tell who drives their cars year round and who doesn't. Since I have a winter vehicle too, my Camaro got parked for good after Thanksgiving and will come out once the street sweepers/sprayers come out and rinse the highway off. That's usually late march or early April. Length of storage depends on the weather more than set dates.

Yep,I hate that crap that they have to put down, hell I won't even drive my 4wd truck through it,I got me a nice little Saturn SC2 for a winter beater/DD/work car.
Plus I also do a "Winter lay-up" through my insurance where I get a discount for not driving it from Dec.1st to Feb.28th,even then like most others I wait until all the ashes are washed off the roads before driving it in the Spring.

Put mine away Oct 23rd, but I drive it once a week when possible. Winters are warmer then before, but evil when they come. 2900 miles so far and hoping to keep it under 6000 a year.
