What to do first blower or cam?

I have enough $ right now to do the purchase and install of a blower or of a cam. Not both at the same time. To do the install of a full vr cam kit with springs, pump, chain i was quoted 22hrs labour. So i can do one or the other. What is the best option as i know the blowers have giant gains with a cam

I would suggest blower first. You might be happy with just that and find you don't need or want a cam. But if you do the cam first, you have to select a cam that will do good with a blower if you know that you will add one in the future. Which may not give you the optimal performance naturally aspirated. But there are probably some decent cams out there that can be used both NA and with a blower.

Do you have an LS3 manual or a L99 auto?

Manual. Ive had tt cars before and in order to get the real power i needed a cam anyway. I just figure 8k all in for blower kit or 4k for a cam. I also know to run any real boost im going to wanna change springs too. So thats a cam first issue

Yeah you really need to pick out what your goals are. Do you want 500, 600, 700, 800 HP? Is it a street car? Race?

So many great options out there...

go with the blower first. You dont need an aftermarket cam to make 500 or 550 .

Plus you will make more power with the blower , make sure you do new valve springs .

What kind of blower are you thinking about .

Lsa conversion.com by far the best deal out there. You could probably get a cam and ported heads with this kit for 8k.

TT kit for $8k with no cam, no headers, no added parts can easily do 800+rwhp.

Do the lsa conversion kits supply injectors and bap as well? Its seems the ecs kit is bang for buck the best all in. As new injectors add 800 and bap 250. Now u are at the same price as their kit but with a top mount more prone to heat soak
