Good Trade-in price for 1LE
I am looking at trading in my 2014 Camaro 2SS 1LE in Blue Ray Metallic.
26,000 miles, Recaro seats, moonroof, dual mode exhaust. Best offer I have is for $25,000, does that seem like a good trade in offer? Thanks for any input. |

For a wholesale price, which is what a dealer would give you, it's not terrible. Sell it on your own an you could get 2-3 grand more.

Sounds about right for a dealer offer but like Olddude said; try selling out right on your own..FYI they are still asking 30k around here for 1/le's 2014-2015.

Try a private sale first , you may come out ahead . If you trade it the dealer has to make profit on it and the new vehicle you are trading it in on . Did you try to sell it on the forum here ? Bet there are some members who would be interested in it .

Depends on what you're paying for whatever you're trading it for.
$25 seems high, so they're probably making it up on the price of the new vehicle. |

Also around here when you do a trade in you do not have to pay the taxes on the amount of the trade. If they give you $25,000 and your tax rate is 4% you would save $1000 in taxes so it is like you got an extra $1000 in trade.

Bought my car last month. Searched withing a 500 mile range for a few months. That car would bring 26,500. That is the price they were selling at. Alot of dealers have them priced at 29k and 30k but they weren't selling unless they had under 10k miles on them.

25k is good nowadays. I think you should take it. Lots of people including myself having a hard time getting offered more than 23k... Private sale you could get 27-30 out of it maybe.

Bought one optioned similar to yours less than a month ago from a dealer for $27,250. So I would think $25,000 would be about right for trade in.
