Sounds PERFECT!!!
Being over 40 I'm looking at a "healthy sound" rather than loud and raspy.

yeah, I know, but wasn't too impressed w/ how the sound of the actual Borla was in the clip I saw of it... was somewhere here on the forums...

Like Scott, I want to stick w/ GMPP parts if possible, at least during the warranty period. If I do decide to go against that, for the sound, it'd be the SLP exhaust... Although, the GMPP does seem to sound very close to the SLP.

Maybe when Scott gets a chance, he'll give us some more vids, idling, rev, and take-off...

Regardless of who's making it for them.... wasn't impressed w/ the actual Borla exhaust... not too impressed w/ Corsa either when I heard it in person (too much crackling)...
The GMPP and SLP LM2 are my top-runners.

There are some pics of the borla people down under doing the exhaust before the car came out. It's safe to say Borla is doing the GMPP.

I talked to a dealer today... he said the GMPP exhaust is $1,050 installed, and no warranty issues. If I got the SLP, it is $535 to order it and then the dealer said he would install it for around $150 or so. He also mentioned that if anything were to go wrong (warranty-wise), they would have to determine that the aftermarket exhaust caused the problem. Other than that, all warranty coverage remains valid.

Would anyone care to explain the differences between these two exhausts systems? For twice the price, why pick the GMPP exhaust (aside from warranty)?

Thanks

My dealer wanted 1050 installed too. Went online and got GMPP for 760 delivered. And I'll install them myself.

What are all of the advantages of this exhaust over the stock?

I have it installed on my car and I love it. It sounds alot better in person than the video.
I was looking for a more throatier sound versus just louder. I also like that those big ass cans are no longer hanging out the bottom of the car.
