Angry My 2012 Vert

My car was purchased on 2/29/12. I've had an ongoing battle with my dealership (Pine Belt Chevy in Eatontown)...my car is starting to get rub marks, by my back window the seal is starting to separate, on the inside of my roof on both sides of the back window it is starting to sag, 3 holes in the headliner, my plastic latch has already been replaced, my car makes sputtering noises every morning-it sort of sounds like the car is trying to backfire but can't..then all of a sudden it sounds like a jackhammer going off. When I shift from P to D....Sometimes it sounds like metal on metal. It doesn't do it all the time. Today I plugged my IPod in and it took 20 minutes for the car to recognize it. I told my dealership last week that I only wanted them to fix the plastic latch because their have been so many inconsistencies with the dealership and the way they operate. So when I took the car in yesterday I told them to please note down that the back window seal is separating. So when I got my car back they put a note on the paper that says "customer states she will return for rear window"... they didn't even look at the car. I travel 45 minutes each way and have been there a few times already with issues. My dealership lacks compassion for it's customers. I called GM yesterday to find out if there were any recalls or TSB's on my car since my dealership hasn't addressed any. Of course, there were 2. I called my dealership and asked why they didn't address these issues with me... they said "you told us you lost faith in us and were taking your car elsewhere. We don't have time to check every car that comes in here for recalls or TSB's." My reply was " so, since I told you I was taking the car elsewhere and for you to only fix the latch you weren't going to check on these things for me?"...."we didn't look them up because you said you were going to another dealership to have your car looked at"... I said "either way you should tell people if there is a recall or a TSB... what happens if it was a major recall on my car and I got in an accident"... "GM would have notified you of a recall"... Talk about great customer service. I contacted GM and they have now gone ahead and escalated this to a district specialist. I have bought 10 new Chevy vehicles in the last 16 years. I guess this camaro will be my last. So disappointed in the level of care. They didn't have any issue taking my money.... Oh for those of you that use this dealership please check your paperwork before you leave the service department. They wrote on my paper that there were no holes in the headliner... I have 3. When I questioned the dealership why they put there was no issues Tom (service manager) said we printed the paperwork before the car was completed. So of course I made him write up the paperwork correctly and sign it. Talk about shady.

stat on them....the squeaky wheel gets the grease...some dealers today are really hurting their future business. I will no longer go to my local dealers as to problems with my Silverado and Vette, but I found a great dealer (Berger) in GR, MI. Good Luck to ya

Sounds like a crappy dealer, try to find another. Lots of people got their car bought back from GM for chronic problems.
