I am a firm believer in reliablility and in "bang for the buck"

That being said, I would fully trust the SLP/Maggie for that style, and the Procharger for the Cent. style supercharger. I also like the lower intake temps of the centrifugal style superchargers. Lower temps can result in less stress on your vehicle..

You are going to receivce a lot of opinions and advice on this subject, this is just my thoughts... One very important comparison is HP levels at the SAME boost...some advertise at 8psi or 6psi, make sure you compare the same boost levels.

I am always happy to help.

I was leaning toward the Vortech because of it doesnt require me to remove the top part of my engine, and compared to the Procharger, I prefer its intake tube/filter location.

I appreciate your advice. Good points.

I agree with your thoughts on the intake location.
They are VERY similar kits, and I have had great success with both Vortech and Procharger.

I have had some great support from Vortech so you cannot go wrong with their products. I may actually be using them on my personal car, so yes, I trust them!!

let me know if you have any other questions...I am bored tonight, so I am happy to help..LOL

Different Kinds of Power.

A Positive displacement Supercharger Makes Power NOW and at Low RPM.

Our Street brawler package makes 455 RWTQ torque at 2200 RPM and has 6 psi boost at that RPM and carries the boost to red line with a peak boost of 7.5 and 560 RWHP, a Real Kick in the butt slam you in the seat power.

Centrifugal Superchargers Have a More Linear Gain, for instance at the same 2200 you might only have 1 PSI boost that will climb to 7.5 PSI at 6000 RPM.

Pulls harder and harder as RPM increases.

Boost is fun and the sooner you get it the more fun it is to drive.

A basic rule of thumb for me is PD for Street and Centrifugal for Racing, but I have to admit the both do very well in either.

So then it just becomes a personal choice.

Ted.

KB makes great product but when it comes down to it there is not enough of a difference in performance boost for boost to tell them apart with a blind fold on.

I am talking equal or near equal size blowers from different manufacturers.

So No need to wait Go for it

I like the Vortech stuff alot. I've had great success with their products on past and present vehicles. I believe Magnusson will be a very nice kit as well and Several companies will be using their stuff..
