email sent to track

I tried to call em but they are closed for the season so I shot them an email. I know one of the county commissioners who helped get the track on schedule so if I hear nothing from the track I'll see If I can get an off season phone number. It may be easier to get a day during the week but I asked for a Sat. I know the bike track days were always Thurs or Fri

If we could do a Saturday or Sunday that would be cool. That would give folks from all around the North West time to get there and time to go home after. This could be a great opportunity for those who want to go to Camaro Fest but don't want to (or can't) drive to Arizona. I had planned on going to Camaro Fest when the rumor had it in Vegas, but the Arizona location put it too far away for me to go to.

Anyway- keep us informed on what you find out. This could be a cool thing if we get enough folks to go. Like I said earlier, you can count me in!

Spokane Track Rates

Okay I talked to the individual who sets up the schedule for the track and got some prices and dates available. Weekends are pricey Monday thru Thurs. $1750.00 a day Fridays $2500.00 Sat & Sun $4000.00 Insurance thru the track is $780.00 a day EMS is $75.00 an hour 10 hours $750.00
So a week day would run $3280.00 plus whatever corner workers would want Friday would be $4030.00 and a weekend day would be $5530.00

Right now tentative weekend date would be Sept. 24 or there is a super Chevy show the last weekend of August that we could do either wed or Thurs and make it a mini vacation and have some folks stay over for the super chevy show.

The track liked the idea of doing it before the chevy show but its up to the people here what they want to do or not.

during the week 20 cars/ $3280.00 = $165.00 25 cars $135.00
Fri 20 cars/$4030.00 = $202.00 25 cars $162.00
Sat Sun 20 cars/$5530.00 = $277.00 25 cars $222.00

So I am throwing this out for feelers obviously the more cars the cheaper but possible less track time 30 -40 cars would be max I think to get in some good quality time and lots of laps the new configuration will be around a 2.2 mile circuit. I would need at least 20 people say lets do it for sure to put some money down for the reservation.

I will look into what the car requirements are but they know this is for street cars I think a helmet and a drivers license is all you need plus seatbelts.
I know for the bikes you had to tape all glass headlights etc. and only water in the radiator no anti freeze but bikes crash more than cars

They have a race the first weekend in June They have lots of Thurs Fri open but the weekends are mostly for full races and the only single day so far was the 24th of Sept. They are reworking the road course and it won't be done until end of May. Also was looking at cooler temps I can see about dates earlier. trying to see if there is any interest before I committ much more.

I'm sure I could do a Thursday or Friday in August. I'd just come over the night before or early the morning of the event. I'd bring my wife and we would make a weekend of it. If you can find a date that would work for multiple people I'll just plan on being there.

I'll talk it over with my husband and get back to you.

I'd like to confirm the "last weekend" in August dates as being, Thursday, August 25 & Friday, August 26th with the Super Chevy show following ~ August 27 & 28th. Correct?

Thanks : )

Spokane Track day

That is correct I think it would be fun to do the thursday track day and if people wanted we could do a fun drive around some of the roads around this area stop for lunch somewhere just kinda make a fun weekend and for those who wanted stay around for the Super Chevy show.

Can you book a date in August without paying for the track upfront? I'm just thinking that we should pick a date, book the sucker, and then throw out a huge invite in a new thread with details. Plus I can book my vacation stuff this way too.

I'd be interested, too. What do they need to hold a date? It is probably pretty tough to get many people to fully commit this far out. When it comes down to it, though, I bet you could easily fill up any open spots.

For me, I'd have to take half a day to drive each way and have a place to stay.

Aug 25 is out

Okay sorry for the confusion The head track administrator just called me and said that the Thursday before Super Chevy weekend wouldn't work. He said they have too many semi's moving stuff in and it would interfer with our track so that day is out.
They want 50% down to hold the track for that day and the rest 1 week prior to the track day. I don't mind fronting some money but I want to make sure this will go before I commit to it. I am up for days to try for I could try the fri. before or a fri. early Sept. after labor day. We could do a day in July but from my experience it gets hot out there and there is no shade plus the cars won't make full horse power.

here are some dates you tell me which would work best I will go with the majority These are Friday dates since the Sat dates are $1500.00 more than a day Friday are $2500.00 for the track plus expenses as listed prior.

August 5, 12, 19
Sept. 9, , 23

I do not even know if the track is available these dates and will post later if these are not available they are out to lunch right now
