13 Lt Camaro Cold air inate

Hey everyone i have some questions about my cold air intake. I Dont feel like its hitting as hard as it did or any better then when i had my regular filter. also when im going 80 MPH down the highway it wont rev past 5k or when i drop it into lower gear going 70-80? i got a check engine light after installing air intake but cleared it and i also took battery out over night. Also is there any good programmer chips or superchips?

I would post pics of your install...

Mine runs great!

Sounds like your MAF sensor is not installed correctly or you might have installed the CAI tube backwards.

I love my CAI inc. & never had the first problem with it. What kind of cold air intake did you get? How long have you had it installed? And yeah, maybe some pics would help.

Okay i figured it out. i had a air leak. this CAI is for a 2011 camaro and the Air censor screws are not positioned the same as a 2013, SOOO me and my dad bought different tubes and we put that black piece inside the tube andd when it got to the first clamp it didnt seal right because the black piece was to long creating an opening. we took it out and it runs better. i can go over 90MPH and no lag. thanks for all your help.

IDK how to add pictures on here but heres a link to the picture -> http://prntscr.com/12wgcc

thanks for all your help
