Has anyone done a delete of the EVAP purge solenoid valve from the engine bay? Specifically on the LS7..?

1) does it throw a light?

2) does it affect the tune significantly enough to require a remap?

Why do you want to remove it?

If it's cosmetics, just move it to someplace you think it's less noticeable and extend the hoses and wiring to it.

If it's because race car and you don't give a damn, take it all off and discard. You'll probably need someone to access the tune to disable the DTC's that'll set the SES light off.
