I'm glad I saw this thread tho. I always felt the 6th gen is just too different from the 5th gen. The nose just ain't right. Idk it just doesn't feel like the camaro u fell in love with

It's barley diff.... It should've been totally diff. But it's practically identical, accept that the 6th Gen looks cleaner, more updated with the times.. Basically Better looking by a long shot. But the 5th still looks good! It doesn't ruin the 5th gen! They can both still exist without any issues. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Personally I think the new Stang looks terrible. I'm not into the 2008 accord look lol & no the new Camaro doesn't look like the new mustang lol

I went to the Autoshow here last night and saw my first Gen 6 SS in Nightfall Gray I would say it was.... It didn't do it for me. That damned rear side window just kills it for me. I had heard there was no room in the back seats but wow the fronts were touching the rears when I got in sure they were pushed back some but not that much.
It was a loaded 2SS for about 58,500 Canadian. My girlfriend who is a car lover said don't ever trade mine for one of those lol! I liked it a lot more than she did but I won't be going upside down a pile of money to have one. For kicks I stood around for maybe 15 minutes to see peoples reactions and they were pretty meh... most walked by some got in then back out and said nothing about it. They had a Shelby GT350 there and that is a sick car but was 75k Canadian and it isn't the R version either. |

IMHO the new Stang is 2/3 a finished car. Love everything except the front nose, especially the side profile of it.

I got to drive a 6th gen with the v6 in it over the weekend. Before I drove the v6 I sat in a fully loaded SS. I can't believe how much smaller the whole car was! Obviously the rear seats are never going to be used. The inside of the doors are so much wider, the speedo bezel is huge and there is absolutely no room under the hood. I can't see any supercharger fitting it there. The trunk is just stupidly small. The opening and the space is just not there anymore. I think GM has sacrificed too much practicality for performance. The overall look and lines are not that appealing to me, at all.
The v6 had some good pep to it. They wouldn't let me drive the SS even though I showed up in my 600+rwhp camaro, but whatever. |

Companies will always get their fair share of the market as the market goes up and down. Advertising helps you gain your unfair share of the market and I haven't seen anything advertised on the 6th Gen Camaro. If the general public knew what the forum people knew, there would be more sales in the Camaro column. It's a completely different car with similar but compromised looks compared to the 5th gen.
