Do you regret getting black?

Don't get me wrong. I love black. Clean I believe it's the best color by far. But what a pain to keep clean!

I admit I'm very OCD. But everytime I look at my car I find another swirl mark or spot in the clear coat. I use Zaino and I follow every instruction to the T and I still get swirl marks.

I just cleaned my car tonight and noticed another spot in the middle of the hood. SO FRUSTRATING!!

Thoughts?

Black is a hot color...but I regretted getting it about 6 hours after i got my last black car. Never again unless I can afford to have someone was it daily.

Everybody who gets a Black car usually learns to NEVER get one again. If you keep it garaged and don't use it, it's ok. But if you actually use it, it's FAR to much work. Usually the kids get black and as you get wise you get white or other light colors...

Black is SO awesome! I loved my black Regal GS even though it was a LOT of work. Ever since, I've always gone for dark metallics because it seems like the metal flake hides quite a bit of dirt & damage.

One thing I've never understood - why don't black cars get a dark or black primer? I'm sure there is probably a great reason for that, but then I know very little about painting. It seems like a dark primer would help hide the damage from rock chips (for example.)

My 69 is Black and I love it. However, I did not have the time to keep 2 Black cars clean so the new one is SIM. No regrets with SIM. Black is beautiful though when clean.

HELL NO!!!!! I don't regret it. It's the baddest color there is for this type of car. Nothing says muscle like a BLACK SS.

Blacks cool but I found weekly cleaning is essential.

I used to use zaino etc...but with black?

Its Eagle one car bucketless car wash...

California water black swipe and wipe (every time you swipe the black you wipe it to make sure its free of debris)

Then I use eagle one wax while you dry spray.

the whole thing is done in about 15 minutes

Summer months? Once a month I do the same as above but slap on a coat of Wolfgang..

next time...I'm going back to red..or silver.
