No, Criswell Chevrolet will never see my car. It will go straight from the factory, to a dealer in El Paso. If anyone here wishes to, you can contact Mike Furman at Criswell Chevrolet. His number is (301)212-4420. I feel comfortable with this guy.

Becky Rodgers helped me track my camaro, when it was being built. She seems like a very nice lady. I won't be contacting her concerning the vette.

Mike Furman is very active in the corvette forum. He doesn't want anything to go wrong with my transaction with him. He knows if anything goes wrong, that's his fault, I may post that info to the forum, and he doesn't want that. He only wants good reviews. I think I'll be able to give him one concerning my dealings with him.

Charlie, feel free to call Mike Furman at Criswell Chevrolet and ask him about that if you wish. Mike would be happy to talk with you about it, and I don't mean that in a sarcastic way. He enjoys what he does for a living, and he loves corvettes.

Also, he knows what is a reasonable charge for a local dealer to charge me for dealer prep. He'll check on that, before he agrees to ship the car to them. This ain't his first rodeo. He's been in business many years, knows how the game is played, and he doesn't want unhappy customers.

Yes and he might be on the up and up. But when your car shows up to the dealer here they are going to charge you to pdi that car and they can charge what they want. That's why I am saying to get in contact with the dealer that is going to receive it and find out the process and fees.

Nope, Mike Furman will check on all that for me.

Another way to talk to Mike Furman, is to go to one of his threads in the corvette forum. He'll respond to any questions you have. Below is one of his threads. He's off on Fridays and Sundays.

Here's my post I made to Mike Furman. Scroll about 2/3 of the way down, and you'll see my post. Like I said, he responded before I finished editing my post. So I called his number that he has posted, figuring a receptionist for Criswell Chevrolet would answer the phone, and I would ask for Mike Furman. He answered the phone himself, and said, "This is Mike. Can I help you?"Things went uphill from there.

Not sure man, for one my parents are staying over night to watch the kiddos for an event we have later. Secondly, the z is mad dirty! Haven't had a chance to wash it for a while.

Well, you're going to show me up Charlie. I was going to detail my car today, to the max, in preparation for tomorrow's get together. Plus, mine was needing it also. Anyway, I cut my hand a couple of days ago, so I'm having to blow off the detailing until my hand heals. Oh well. I ran it through the car wash today, so it doesn't look bad, but it's really not up to my standards.
