She looked on THIS SITE while at work, found the Budget at Beverly Hills, and picked one up for the weekend! I'll be going to get it in an hour here. I know it's a 2SS (what I ordered) but dont know if its stick or auto, and what color it is.

What a wonderful lady! Her gifts are usually $5 to $10 gifts but you shoulda seen the look on my face when she told me this last night. She then said "now you can test drive one for two days and see if what you ordered 8 months ago is what you want."

All rental cars are auto now, maybe some small exceptions but 95% are auto.

I have been thinking about renting one.
But its a long drive to the nearest renter so who knows.

Lucky guy. I cant talk about cars or god forbid camaro in the house my wife gets pissed off. I wont even surf this site if she's in the house.:(

You need to trade her for a nice 2SS! I am sure there is plenty of stupid BS she talks about that youu suck up. You should not have to hide in the closet to come to camaro5! Take a stand!

They are NOT all the same. My wife is actually the one who ordered my car in March without me knowing it. I figured it out, but still will be excited when it gets here. She is the BOMB! I think she still has some guilt for making me trade my BMW 330i several years ago for a soccer bus - 05 Suburban.

+ like 10000000 for a cool wife. My wife to be (7 more days) picked everything about the 5th gen and talked me into tracking down my dads old IROC I have obssesed over for 18 years, I found it and bought it.

I think it is only the Budget in Bev. Hills and it may not be the national Budget, just a local rental place that rents cars... I could be totally wrong.
