The Ford is cheaper because the next year GT500 is going to be much faster then the current one... it's still a mustang and i'd take the srt or ss over it any day.

The GT500 is for the people that want to buy a name. The same deep pocket'd individual who obviously hasnt researched into the SS vs. GT500, thus not understanding that the price difference doesnt justify the (barely) increased performance.
