Coolant leakin?

So finally got home from Philly with my car. I parked the car and started to smell something burn, I opened up the hood and check the oil first, looked good to me, top cross hatch, good color etc.

So I started examinig the rest of the engine compartment and noticed an orange, lightly thick fluid sitting on top of the radiator on the driver side.

I am attaching a picture, but is that dexcool sitting on top of my radiator? It definitely wasn't oil, and the catch can didn'g have any noticeable leak from the hoses.

The fact you just got back from the dealer with major work, I would just take it to the nearest dealer and have them figure it out to make sure everything was done properly.

Sorry to hear about this Blade. Hopefully a local dealer can help you with this. I hope it's something simple for you and you don't have to be without your vehicle for too long. Let us know how things go for you.

I will take her in tomorrow, or if I am not too tired after driving 600 miles this morning, I will take a look at the hoses myself later today.

Figured out the problem this morning. If you notice the bolt on the catch can bracket, apparently it's pierced the radiator.

My local dealer's estimation is that it happened when the dealer in NJ, who did my engine rebuild, put the catch can back on. So now I gotta get myself a new radiator, yippeee.

I think I am going to try a DIY here. Seems like the bolt has slight pierced the radiator, so I am gonna pick ups some JB Weld and seal the leak. I am gonna move the damn catch can to the other side of the engine bay as well.

Should save me the ridiculous expense of replacing the radiator.

Which bolt, the stock bolt that holds the CC bracket on? Does not seem to make sense to me as I don't believe that bolt can reach the radiator. I mean think about it, the bolt is out more now with the bracket then it was before without the bracket.

Did he show you were the radiator is leaking? If anything I would think the hose to the reservoir is pieced/pinched and that's a much simper fix.
