Good luck. I had to go a bit above the required temp because of the gas oven. I think they said 170 for 15 minutes. I went up to 190 for 15 minutes.

I baked them with an electric oven for 25 minutes at 225 degrees work like a charm, big thanks to John Sutton who has installed and done three sets of these!

It is lighter looking becasue it is synthohol. They can't get real booze out of a replicator in Star Trek. Scotty hides his real Scotch under the helmet in his quarters....

Come'on now....

Yes.. was out with the Mrs. on our "date night".

I think the ones made for cars with the GM ground effects have smaller diameter tips so the fit in those weird GM exhaust ports.

As Gary and I talked about before, I really think the reason why they have different mufflers for V8 vs. the V6 is that they tune it specifically for the sound. Not necessarily fitment, as I believe there isn't any spacing difference from the axle back between an LS/LT and a SS. A cat back or mufflers is mainly for sound anyway.

Besides, all these questions can easily be solved with a sawzall and a welder.

Splitter update

Jake at Guardline gave it a noble effort but could not make the vinyl wrap stick well to the polyurethane splitter. So I dropped it off at Center Collision in Tacoma for painting. That was Wednesday. Yesterday they said after the second try there was still some "fish eye" in the paint. They are doing it a third time to make it perfect. I will pick it up Monday.

I'm learning that the flexible polyurethane material is just a bugger to get things to stick to it. I'm glad I didn't attempt the painting myself, and if there are problems later, I know Center Collision will take care of it.

Ok I think it is time for some of you Camaro's from up north to come south. Next weekend 22 & 23 is the last autocross of the year down here. I think it would be so much fun if there was a bunch of new Camaro's running. I am the only one that runs. It is held in a old RV lot so it is nice and big. It is going to be in Coburg, about 2 miles north of Eugene. I will be there both days
