Headers are quiet?
I recently bought Speed engineering 1 7/8 Longtube headers for my 2013 Camaro 2ss 1LE manual so it has the ls3. I also picked up their true dual exhaust kit and installed it as well. After talking with the company for a bit I found out that the exhaust is completely catless. Which is fine. But for some reason the exhaust is just so quiet. Before I had headers and exhaust installed, I had only bbk cat delete pipes and my car was SO loud. Don’t get me wrong the headers sound great and mean above 3k rpms. But for having headers and a catless exhaust I feel it should be way louder. Is there something that I’m missing here or do headers sometimes make a car quieter? It is much much deeper tone than it had before as well.

Headers themselves don’t affect the sound. Your cats or lack of cats plus your cat back is what affects the sound.

Well when I put my headers on the sound increased dramatically with the off road mids we installed with them. So not sure why yours would be quieter. What are you running for mufflers ?

It's your muffler setup that's quieting things down. You aren't the first person who didn't like the sound produced by the SE exhaust system. There was a thread up a little while ago where the OP said the same thing.
