I hate to be cynical, but I struggle to believe that every driver without a problem is going to report to this thread. If you're having a problem with yours or are considering buying one, a long list of "no problems here" posts aren't going to change your mind.

Well, I had so many problems with my first one my wife said I was foolish to get another. She may be right. This is a car I have always wanted. A new convertible Camaro. I can see people on the fence seeing all these posts about bad tops, floods, window regulators, etc. and not buying one. Dealerships are not going to tell potential customers of problems with the cars. They are in the business to sell them. Just like anything though, do your research or Caveat Emptor!

Seriously, you'd think the same company that gets Corvette tops right could get the Camaro top right! My c5 Corvette verts, over time, got a bit of wind noise around the passenger window. But I could never hear it from the driver's seat, and it was nothing like the sound in my friend's Camaro vert. You'd think there was a window rolled down in the backseat, if you just heard it and didn't know what car you were driving.

My 2012 was built the 2nd production week. I've had it since August 2011, driven almost 5k miles, most with the top down. No problems with the top and no problems with the car other than loving it more than the others

Got the 45th Convertible RS with no problems. Have only had it since 3/11/12. Great car and plenty of power for me. Michael

Wildone I remember when we were waiting for our cars. Mine was made 7/26/11 and repurchased on 4/17/12 due to all the issues I had with it. Glad to hear yours is still going strong for you. My new car is in my avatar

No 5th bow disease, no rub marks, no leaks, no flying tonneau covers, no creaks or rattles.

I love this car!

That is great feedback! What is your favorite feature on your Camaro? I am sure you turn heads all year long.

Arg.

Geez, Brandon, here's an actual opportunity for you to help someone out. Yeah, its great that he has no problems with the top and loves his car. Sweet! But don't you think you could send him info on the glovebox? GM knows about that problem and admits its a problem and has a fix. You could simply shoot him a PM on where the info is so that he can go to his dealer and get it fixed (instead of him just slamming it harder and eventually breaking something else - Which is a pretty Mickey Mouse way for a dealership to act).

Here you have an easy opportunity to make a positive difference and yet......
