You could always run the car's info through NADA, KBB or BlackBook to get an idea of value. Seems like a pretty good deal from the outside looking in

Rather if it is a good deal or not is your choice. From what I found prepare to pay more for the vehicle you really want. Also the least expensive SS you will find is not always your best option. Good luck with your search I hope you find the SS you really want. www.ebaymotors.com www.autotrader.com www.cars.com

Plenty of 1le have popped up for $25000 and less the last 6 months. To assume that they are not good cars is foolish the market is just adjusting. There was an pretty heavily modded low mile AGM 1le on here recently listed for $25k. My personal opinion is 5th gen 1le cars are not $30k cars anymore and people just need to accept that.

People pay five dollars and sometimes more for a cup of Starbucks.
Things are worth what people are willing to pay. As for the ops question, I would say you can do better. But when you decide on a car, if it is used, a ten minute test drive is not enough. I have offered an owner a nice dinner after a hour or so ride with him. If they accept then I feel they have nothing to hide. Of course I also show cash prior. |
