He just texted me again last night and said he would be coming back from Texas thurs. and could drop off the parts. I did not respond. I know that if I respond he is going to say send him a deposit so doesn't bring the parts for nothing or something similar.

Looks like the same MF’r got me down here in Florida too....
I am a fool and fell for this scam. I'm out $750 but figured I'd post a warning to maybe save someone else the trouble. Here's the ad, it's still up: https://tampa.craigslist.org/psc/pts...917746052.html A shot of the add and the pictures he used in case it disappears and get's relisted are attached. Dude's phone # is (412) 540-5819 and he used his wife's name "Jessica Henry" and her email jessicahenry6912@gmail.com I'll be going through whatever fraud reporting process I can. Unfortunately, I'm stupid and used Zelle to send him payment since I was unable to meet in person. I know... textbook scam and I should have known better. Now I know that despite Zelle being supported directly by my bank (USAA), that there is zero protection for this situation. The money is gone. Not everyday you see a 1LE 3.91 diff for "cheap"... and I took the bait. Fair winds and following seas shipmates. |

That phone # is no longer in service. I say we all find a good number for this guy and we all flood it with calls and text messages so he cant do this to anyone else.

He got me one time for 500$. Similar story said he worked for UPS. Don’t buy things from people online, hard to learn that the hard way sadly. The few can ruin for the many.
