no no no shank. This is about the HUD. T-tops are for another thread, but asking for them is pointless. the structure requires solid roof rails above the door, that is incompatible with t-tops. Get yourself a sawsall if you really want them that bad. Oh, and a couple extra blades too. You'll probably need them

Like others have said, so long as there is an 'upgrade' available--where we can get the HUD unit installed at a later time, I'm fine with waiting. Initially, I was going to wait until 12/09 to buy one with the HUD anyway, but 7 months later seems like an eternity... I (and I'm sure most of you would agree) only have so much patience...

I wanted the HUD and was holding out hope that someone would realize that this feature is worth 5 ricer spoilers and put it in front of the less desireable features so I wouldn't have to wait until December. Now I find out it's delayed?

I'm going to be as nice as possible about how I feel about this:

HUD 12/09 = Fail

HUD 06/10 = Epic Fail

'nuff said.

i think if HUD came out the same time as white it would be more reasonable... and would make sure GM had strong sales after initial release. Personally i am debating the convertible or the coupe and the way i see it if the HUD comes out before the vert ill buy then

I think HUD would be a good option at release but it probably wont. I'm fine without it even though I think its sweet.

For people who have used it before, are you able to turn it off or is it always on?

What gets me upset is that they originally said that the 'vert would be out approximately 9 months after the coupe. Is it July '10 now???

IMO this is not something GM needs to be concerned about at this point. Although I hope they can work something out in time involving an installation thru the dealer summer 2010, or better yet they slap the Vette hud in there till 2010, I really hope they focus on perfecting the mechanics of the car first (which is what they seem to be doing). Keep up the good work GM!

I want it as well, it would be one of those must have features for me, so i'll have to wait. If GM was smart, they would use the Corvette philosophy here...they ARE upgradable on the vettes. You can buy one without, get it online, do the install yourself, and whala!
