Thinking about selling 2012 IOM Camaro

Thinking about selling 2012 IOM 1Lt Camaro. I've always wanted a manual V8, but as this being my first car, and it wasn't me that bought it, I was more than thrilled to have this V6 Camaro, especially as my first car.

It has 20,000 miles on it and I was wondering what I would be able to get for it if I did want to sell it. Again, not looking to sell, just want to see what people would be willing to pay for it. Click on my signature to see the pics.

I know most of you already have a V8 and would not plan to buy, but would like to have true market value or value for what somebody would actually pay for it.

Is it a manual or auto?

Auto transmission with no adjusting the base options sets KBB at $19,000 to $20,500 if you were to sell it yourself. That's without the mods you've put in. However those generally don't add to the value of the car. Depends on who would want to buy it.

You could always run it by CarMax and see what they would offer you.

Chances are if you try to trade it in at a normal dealership they'll low ball you at first. That's why I always shop it around and always run it by CarMax. Fight for what you want back out of the car but don't expect to get KBB Excellent Condition value for your trade in, or even Very Good for that matter. If you pull that off let me know. When I traded in my 2012 ZL1 KBB showed me $48,000 for excellent condition. Yea... Getting that is like finding a unicorn. It won't happen. I think after arguing long enough at multiple places I ended up getting $45,000 for it on trade in. Plus you get a nice Tax deduction bonus.

Also I'd recommend looking at KBB and filling out the info for your car. You'll get a more accurate number that way.
