Agreed. I didn't use one when I pulled my wheel to remove the dash.

I pulled my wheel a few months ago and once you remove the bolt the wheel comes right off by hand.

Good to know the wheel comes off that easy. I see the wheel puller holes in the new one and just figured Murphy's Law says I would need one.

I did the 10 to 12 ZL1 steering wheel upgrade.

This may help you a bit to get things going:

I was thinking about doing the same thing too. Eagerly awaiting ;o)

Ditto on what HAMMDO said would love to have a heated wheel, especially in suede if available.

That switch is in the new steering wheel.
I had to order the 2 wire harness and connector to supply the heater circuit to the clock spring since I was adding it. That harness was 15 bucks and has not arrived yet. 1 wire is ground and 1 wire is power for the heater.

The Corvette Z06 wheel is very similar in suede but not heated like the Camaro...

Lol, That I ordered from ebay so I'm not so patiently waiting.

Hopefully My biggest problem is the none of the new wheels come with Orange stitching so that won't match. Once its all done I'll have to look into one of those dye the stitching threads.

Any chance you can post all the parts needed for this swap? I'm highly interested in doing this as well. Thanks!
