JBA non catted mid pipes or cold air intake

As the title says, I'm looking to improve my 2013 Camaro SS. But I don't know what to start with. I'm new here and couldn't find much about which one to purchase first. I don't have much to spend at the moment, but wanted to start making some bolt-on improvements. Anything will help, thank you.

Do you ever plan on getting longtube headers?

CAI would be the good start point (IMO) and later you can decide what to do with the exhaust (mid pipes can definitely wait a little longer, get the descent headers first)

Manual (LS3) or Automatic (L99?)

Either one will benefit from a tune, cold air intake, longtube headers, and a ported throttle body. Which brands you go with are entirely up to you.

As for me, here is my mod list...

Cold Air Intake - R2C - being shipped right now
Longtubes - Speed Engineering (about $350) - haven't purchased yet, but very good reviews
Ported Throttle body - VMAX - haven't purchased, but good reviews
Tune - RDP Motorsports via DynoSteve - has tons a rave reviews - being shipped right now

I was thinking about LH after I graduate. I just read alot about great sound and performance from the mid-pipes.

Not knowing how much you have to spend, I would start with a CAI.

Between your two choices, definitely get the mid pipes.

The mid pipes will vastly improve the exhaust sound and give you a noticeable power increase. High flow cats or non catted mid pipes are the best bang-for-the-buck mod IMO.

The cold air intake gives you a little intake roar but that's about it. Even though it is supposed to give you some HP I didn't feel it.
