If you get the V6 you will want the SS,
Get the SS I just saved you trading in the V6 in a year or less

If you are willing to drive long distance you will find what you are looking for. Don't settle, look around for what fits your budget best. Definitely get a V8 though.

I'll repeat what the others said. Get an SS. You have enough money although possibly not for a 2013 with low miles but never the less you have enough money. Lots of guys take excellent care of their Camaros. I would just avoid buying one that is modded at all or is owned by a younger guy. Good luck

I don't know what part of Florida you are from but if your in Ft Lauderdale the Chevy dealer has a sweet 2013 2SS 20k miles fully loaded for 21500, it's silver but it was a garage queen for sure.

I just got my first "real deal" 2SS about a month ago. I tried a 2015 2LT convertible out at the dealer, then I tried the 2015 2SS. As soon as I started it up I felt like I went into another dimension.
I bought it. SO glad I did. Big real deal fun! |

Can somebody tell me if the racing stripes are decals or painted on? I want all black, and this one is basically exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks.

My vote is for shopping around and finding a perfect 2013-15 SS with low miles. My 2015 with 17000 miles has a estimate trade in value of $21500. Its just a matter of time until you start seeing these priced 21-24k private for one that is perfect.
Might want to consider finding the perfect car and settling on the color for the time being. Id prefer to have a perfect car in the wrong color, as opposed to settling for a black V6. |

I looked up the GM warranty history of the car you posted, the oil leak was a loose oil level sensor which was repaired in 2011 and no further repairs later. Factory Rally stripes are just vinyl that can be removed, but with the red in the stripe I would ask if they are painted. Last edited by JerTM; 03-17-2017 at 03:04 PM. |

There are 2 options
1. The Real Deal 2. Settling for less than the Real Deal Choose accordingly

Find a V6 and a V8 and take them both for a test drive. When I was looking for a replacement for my G8 I test drove Mustangs (too tight), Challengers (too expensive) and Camaros. I almost bought a Redline Challenger (V6) but I couldn't get over how weak it was in comparison to the G8 I was coming out of. Then I got behind the wheel of my SS Camaro and it was all over. Besides finding the rare color I wanted the V8 was everything I wanted and then some. Of course the mod bug didn't take long to bite, but even in stock form the car was incredible. Long story short, drive both and make an educated decision based on experiences. If you really want the V8 after that then either buy the V8 or continue to save and get the year V8 you want.

Whatever you do, don't take a 1LE out for a test drive in the twisties.
