Lug Nuts and Locks
I just ordered new wheels and they should be in a week or so. Looking to get gloss black lug nuts and wheel locks. I've looked on amazon but I'm just not sure what to trust. Also what is the thread and size for our wheels?

I have the Gorilla locking lugs on all my vehicles, the sets where all the lugs require a special key-socket to install/remove. A little more expensive then the sets that come with only one locking lug nut per wheel, but I like them. Also, as I have 3 sets, I can attest to the fact that it's not a 'one key-socket fits all; not sure how many variations they do have, but none of my 3 sockets are interchangeable with the other lug sets

Gorilla is a good brand. Do NOT lose the ID card for the locks or they won't help you get a new key.
Our lugs are 14x1.5. I just bought new chrome lugs without locks, because a shop misplaced my key and I didn't realize until I went to rotate my tires after an oil change.

I have McGard locks and they are great. I got my lugs from pual at factory reproductions when I got my wheels from them. Great dude to deal with.

Tire shop snapped my key pulling one of my tires and went and got this out of his toy box.
 I haven't spent a dime on locking lugs since. |
