What wires to tap into for front camera

I am installing a front facing camera on my Camaro, and instructions are designed for rear facing and to tap positive wire into reverse lights, but since I am running it as a front camera obviously that’s not an option. It still had a yellow video wire running to my head unit but I’m guessing it’s not a remote on and off. Would it be ok to run it to any accessory hot wire and hopefully be able to toggle the video off from the head unit or is there a better option?

the 'cig' lighter ' charger wire turns off when the car is off. Do you want a constant hot so it works when the car is off? So you can see when / if something happens in your absence?

Just tap into the red or blue wire on the head unit.

In the engine bay, remove the cabin air filter and frame. Then you see 2 holes with rubber plugs in. Push or pull the plug out. I used a fish tape to pull the video cam wire thru. I tried it with a stiff wire before but there is too much insulation under the passenger dash and i didn't wanna take more stuff apart as needed.
