Harness for BK Bar

Is a 4pt harness the only thing that works with the BK harness bar? Just picked up a BK bar yesterday and want to make sure 4pt is the only option. Im only doing HPDEs not doing any racing with the car.

Yes, unless you add a tank plate.

Yup, gotta find some type of tank plate. Good luck, I've currently got two thread on here looking for someone making them, and little luck so far. They area fairly simple item, so I think if you found a machine shop/metal fab shop that was willing to make a one off design, if would be fairly easy.

Many groups are moving to 5 or 6 point harnesses only.

You can use these Simpson eye bolts, but you need to double up on the washers, one on top and one on the bottom.

These for the lap belt.

What groups are going that way? Most seem to only allow 5/6 points if you have a cage. So that implies they want cages too for HPDE?

OPTIMA for one. Three point factory belt. No four point harnesses. Five or six point if you choose to wear a harness. Harnesses can be mounted to a HB or cage.
