Talking Swap RS headlights with non RS headlights

Yup, you heard right. I am getting a 2LT/ RS and wanted to know if it was possible to replace the RS headlights with those of a non RS. I prefer to go with the yellow look. Or is it just possible to put in a bulb resembles the look of the non RS headlights?

I wouldn't sacrifice the high def output for the yellow look, halogens are really that yellow anyway. I don't know much about bulbs but that's what I would look into. The lights are worth keeping they are awesome at night.

You have so much better a view pattern with the halogens. Why would you get an RS package and change the lights? Isnt that like the main thing for an RS?

Blood halogens are the weaker light and what he asked to switch to, your first sentence doesn't make sense.

Lol view pattern I didnt know what else to say, like you can see more/wider view with them. Or maybe its the LED lights I am thinking of, or whatever the blue lights are called that blind me at night.

Edit: Dumb me I think they're HID's?

Halogens are the less or worse view, HID's or high def are the brighter lights.

Well, I got the RS package for the wheels, molding, rear lights, and spoiler. I guess I'm the exception to the rule, but I also don't care for the RS badging. But I take it there is no way to at least get the headlights to look more like the regular non RS lights? I was going to say that I don't like flashy stuff on my car, but then I realized that yellow is not a very conservative color for a car haha

Give the headlights a chance you will like them, not to mention way safer at night. That's never a bad thing.

I wouldn't trade my HID's headlights for anything. I am thinking about getting them put on my wife's '08 Charger with Halos now that I have seen them in action.

There maybe other issues that might be in play between the HID vs non-HID, such has relays, wiring, etc. If you have the RS package, the fog lights are you DRL, where as on non-RS cars, you headlights are your DRL. One the RS, you can not have your Fogs and headlights on at that same time, where on the non-RS, you can. So, there may be other relays and wiring that is slightly different.

I can't believe someone would want to get rid of HID's. To each his own, I guess. I've converted over to them on a couple of my vehicles and love them!
