Stabiltrac service after header install?

Today I installed my Kooks LT and HF cats after a few miles of driving the CEL came on (to be expected) but for some weird reason the service stabilitrac service popped up and all the associated lights with traction control are illuminated. Nothing else has changed. Anything I should check first?

Do you have good clearance from your steering shaft?

Connect diagnostics, delete errors from memory, ask local tuners made quality tune and load the program into the ECU.
After this upgrage car must be O.K.

Did you take your plugs out when you did the headers? Could have cracked a plug. While driving to work after my header install, a plug wire got burnt and my dash lit up

My guess would be plugs. I had a similar issue. A plug came loose and was touching the header and then the service stabiltrac lights came on.

During the assembly I managed to break the spark plug.
The car immediately lost one cylinder.
But perhaps everyone finds that only 7 cylinders out of 8 are working.

Trembling engine
Shooting from exhaust
Cold one tube on exhaust headers....

Perhaps it will be nothing serious.

Service stabilitrac and all the associated tc lights popped up on mine last Sunday out of nowhere. Turned out to be a bad battery

When I blew up my engine (cylinder #2) It was still running, but with a ticking sound and lost power. No check engine light came on but the Stabilitrac light came on. Be careful.

Stupiditrac will appear with anything...… you may not have had the code for delayed response from the front o2s in the tune altered or the rears deleted yes...…….. so sometimes you get what you get without a tune...… The front o2s response to the computer is farther back than stock so it delays the response as it measures between the two sets of o2s..... And check to make sure things are not melted, but anything makes all the nannie lights pop up.....

I had the same issue when installed the headers. I installed at home then drove it to a shop to do the welding job for the stock muffler.

Started the car it was open headers gave me that service stabilitrak thing or whatever it's called. Once finished the exhaust job it was gone for ever. My biggest guess is that was the vibration which caused it. In your case check if the headers are 100% clear and not hitting anywhere. Also make sure whatever you took out is back in its place properly like plugs and so on.

Check your plug wires first. Make sure they're fully seated on the plug and coil pack. Second, check your plugs. Make sure you didn't crack one during header installation if you didn't remove them or during rundown if you did pull them. These two issues seem to make up 90%+ of the issues you're describing.
