Just to add, I think the PAC kit now comes with the knob included. Now if they could come up with a good way to incorporate the module which allows system changes like the AX-LCD does, not that I’ve really had a need to make changes.

I liked this kit until I installed it. It hangs down so low that you can't see the 2 back gauges and operating the controls requires looking at it to make sure you are touching the right spot. It does work well however and fits nicely.

It is the Scosche ITCGM01B kit available directly from Scosche here:

Just my opinions,

Because PAC saw very healthy interest in this community due to how stock the RPK5-GM4101 looked, I would not be surprised if they are indeed making a MyLink clone. If you look at the Elev8 and compare it to a MyLink, it's an extremely similar button and knob setup except flipped upside down. They could easily adapt this into a new design and re-use a lot of internal parts.

Right. Pioneer does make a radio similar, but only a 7" option. There should be more options like this or the elev8 that arent floating due to the new complexity of the cars today having the radios seperate

There was an android unit that was a one peice but had awkward placement of knobs.

Personally I think hacking a mylink radio pac kit and a dounle din headunit would be clean.

Anyone have issues with the Metra kit and air conditioning? I just got a 2013 Camaro SS and I am having issues with the air conditioning not going full cold. I talked to the warranty company and they want to return it back to a stock head unit. Not really a fan of this idea, no pun intended.

Metra tech support recommended a firmware update (January 2020) that could possibly fix.

Car repair shop was able to make damper open fully using OBD computer.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I've got the latest version of the Scosche kit, ITCGM01AB.
It has multiple pages of gauges on the displays and some performance measurements too.

That is slick!! I wonder if they could do a firmware update or something to the 2.0 kit for this to work on mine. I might have to upgrade to this one if not. I really like it.

Has anyone incorporated an iDataliink Maestro RR and a PAC radio kit. I prefer the look of the PAC kit, but I want the info from the Maestro RR. I am using a Sony XAV-AX210 which is compatible with the Maestro RR, but I have not got all of the wiring straight for it to work properly. Unfortunately, the only help from the iDatalink forum was to use the Maestro Cam-1 kit.
