Alright! Brakes are bled and ready for a test drive - the vacuum bleeder and speedbleeders really make this an easy chore...
Next I'll do the rear diffuser then, see what I can do about the ridge collars! -Don

Alcon Caliper Temp Strips
Now that the calipers are rebuilt, upgraded, and bled, it was time to install the Alcon temp strips (14 in a pack!):
https://alconkits.com/tools-and-supp...-strips-detail (Amazon may have them again but, if you need them now, these folks have them in stock...) Temps mean:
and I put them on the Caliper's here: Front: Rear: I certainly do not expect the rears to give me any heat problems but, will be good to know how they're doing... I like these as they'll give me a 'quick' look @ the caliper temps and not impacted (like a laser) by surrounding heat. Used something like these in the past... Good to have for sure when road racing... -Don

Well, the ridge collars are a 2-3 man job -- getting the cradle ready was no problem, its aligning the holes, bolts, collars that’s the issue. I tried for a while but, need help. So, I'll probably have to take it somewhere when the time comes -- oh well, live and learn.
In the mean time, I'll get everything back together so I can take her out for a test drive on the updated brakes then, get ready for CFest -- new alignment, checkout, etc... -Don

Took her for a test drive -- brakes are working perfectly, no squealing, grinding, and a very firm pedal.
Now, I'm just waiting for my MM Wild Catch Can then, I'll give her a bath and make sure everything is ready for fest! -Don

Don,
What/Where are you using the ridge collars? Is the car already showing wear?

Well, got the RPM 5" CAI. Want to experiment with it and have a line on a NW 102. Interested to see how those items affects things ;o)
Also, looking into C7s CF ZL1 1LE wing on a separate trunk lid! Very interested in testing that out! Will need to have Ryan tweak the tune for sure... -Don

We have seen good results with the 5" tubes and NW 102mm along with ported snouts.

I have the 90mm port already so, for now, I’m going to try that then, look to get a 102 snout. I too have heard good things. Interested to see what she’ll do.
Thanks for the input! -Don

Careful, my last name is 'Hamm' so snouts are personal ;o)
no 'Pigism' allowed here or you'll get 'removed' ;o) (since everything this day and age is an 'ism', I made my own up)... -Don
