So I got home from work today and decided I was sick of the Gold Bowtie on my steering wheel - changing it out for a different one or taking it off to paint is not an easy option as it's connected to the airbag, so I decided to go DIY and see how I got on.

I think I need help haha..

Thanks! I'm not normally an artistic person so it was more of a challenge for me than it should have been haha - but now it's on there I'm really happy with it - MUCH better than the gold!!

Thanks

I had my front and rear bowtie painted by Lupe (Overhaulengines on here) - the quality is fantastic.

His bowtie thread is here:

I'm sure you'll end up at the engine work soon enough regardless..I know I'm rapidly getting to that point!

And yeah, it took me a while, but I had nothing else to do that afternoon haha!!

So, added a few more items over the last couple of weeks.

First I added some Stealth Bulbs to get rid of the orange at the front when the turn signals are not on...just cleans it up a little I think and every little helps!

They still flash orange, just can't see them as orange until they are on:

Then I added the Billet Hood Strut from Billet Customs in White:

And finally I added the Technostalgia LED Sequential Rear Lights:

Short Video of Sequential Turn Signals:

So, decided to make things a bit more interesting today - booked it in to have the following installed in the next couple of weeks:

Gates 65.3" Supercharger Belt - Green Stripe HD
SLP 160 Degree Thermostat
ARH 1 7/8" Longtube Headers with High Flow Cars and 3x3" X-Pipe
Custom Dyno Tune

Can't wait!!
