which lifters to run

bout to start gathering parts for a cam swap.. gonna buy a couple parts here and there.. so anyways i want some reliable lifters.. and i know many people are gonna tell me to run ls7 lifters. A couple yrs back my 408 stroker had ls7 lifters and to decided to fail.. so now i don't want the reoccurrence of that ..So my question is there any difference in the chevy performance lifters to the ls7 lifters.. are they more stable? Or should i pull the trigger on some johnson slow leak..
Im looking to run the tsp 3.2 or 4.2 vvt

Best you can get is Johnson, leakdown, heavy duty, and they have link bars so you don't have to worry them twisting/turning

The gm performance lifters are superior to the ls3/ls7 lifters. Gwatney told me it goes ls7=good. Gm peformance lifter = better. Johnson = best

The gm performsnxe lifter should be adequate

I am running the Johnson 2120 lifters, same as 2110 only with axle oiling. Johnson lifter are probably the way to go for drop in lifters.

Best set up would be link bars, the 2110 still uses the factory trays which have a chance of spinning a lifter if they fail. Be careful with the Johnson lifter because some are short travel and require super accurate pushrod lenths.
